How to start a worker co-operative?

So you want to set-up a worker co-op?
First things first, why are you doing it? What needs of your own and of those you hope to collaborate with are you fulfilling?
If this is to provide good quality sustainable work, sharing in the risks, responciblites and benefits of this joint venture then you are on the right track.

Should be obvious but I will say it anyway. Co-operatives need more than one member, if you haven't already, find others who want to share in your values and who you think you can colaboarate with.

Is there a business case?
Co-operatives are not charities; as with any trading organisation there must be a business case.  Someone must be willing to pay for what you create.
